What is Reiki?
Reiki (pronounced Ray-key) is Japanese for Force or Universal Energy. The Reiki technique was developed in Japan by Mikao Usui’ and is administered by the laying on of hands. Usui Reiki is a powerful yet very gentle healing energy that can be used by anyone of any religion, culture or belief. The gentle healing energy of Reiki is used to improve, relaxation and balance. Reiki only works for the Highest Good in any and all situations. While everyone experiences relaxation and calm, healing often takes place for minor ailments.

What does a Reiki treatment feel like?
Receiving Reiki is a very simple process with no disrobing, but usually produces quite profound effects. Reiki Sessions are a unique and individual experience. The session begins by getting comfortable either by lying down on a couch, or recliner, fully clothed, closing your eyes and listening to gentle, soothing music, this helps to produce a state of deep relaxation. As Reiki energy flows following intention the Reiki practitioner may or may not touch you. If they are lead to the Reiki practitioner may gently rest their hands upon you, non-intrusively, in a series of positions from the crown of the head to the feet. Each hand position is held for a few minutes, and during this time healing energy will flow into you, balancing your energy system, releasing stress, soothing , and promoting your body’s natural ability to heal itself.
As the energy flows, you may feel a warmth, heat, or tingling from the Practitioner's hands. It is usually a very relaxing experience, some fall asleep. Other sensations may include seeing colored lights or feeling as if you are floating. Sometimes have an emotional release, as emotional turmoil is brought to the surface and dissipated. While Reiki is very effective, it is not a miracle cure, and the effects of Reiki build up cumulatively. To experience the full benefit of Reiki we recommend four to six sessions. In our experience, this number of sessions are usually enough to sort out stress, tension, anxiety, sleeplessness; physical challenges can take a little longer, but not always. You'll feel more laid back, calm, less stressed and more able to cope. Reiki boost energy levels, raise spirits, and helps you feel more positive. Stressful situations seem to wash away from you. Reiki brings life back into balance.

Relax into the pure consciousness through Reiki, opening dormant corridors of our heart and mind, open to new and ever expanding experiences. Reiki sessions can be like a mini vacation or enable us to release emotional, stressful situations, memories or physical ailments. Is always for your highest good. Speeding up recovery from illness, surgeries. Releasing the physical, mental, emotional baggage we pick up through our lives or past lives. 


Each Reiki Session is customized as guided by you, your guides & my Reiki guides creating the perfect nurturing space for you. The following might be used during your Reiki session: relaxing music, aromatherapy, crystals, Chakra Tuning forks, chanting, breathwork.   Your appointment includes a short consultation before and after each Reiki session. To experience the full benefit of Reiki, we recommend four to six sessions.


60 min Reiki Sessions $75.00  (At your initial appointment you'll be offered the Hope Reiki Wellness Plan)



 Animal Reiki:  Appointments can take a little over an hour as getting acquainted with your pet can take a little time. We start with a short consultation with you & your pet, taking details etc.  Typically I place my hands on your pet to channel Reiki energy to your pet, however if the pet is stand offish or injuries prevent touch then I send to the pet without touch. 

Additional fee based on travel time for sites that are beyond 25 miles will be reasonable according to mileage and gas prices. (Cost of any supplies used is included) Animal Reiki Sessions $100.00 (60 min approx)


Distant Reiki:


Distance Reiki works as we are all connected, we are all energy matter and part of a larger whole. As such, a distance Reiki session allows the Reiki practitioner to link to the energy field of the recipient.


Clients I’ve worked with relay the very same Reiki benefits back to me after a distance session as an in person session. They report feelings of relaxation, happiness, empowerment, ease and relief from pain. My distance Reiki clients will also have the same breakthroughs as those whom I work with in person.


I typically use the recipient's name & location along with a crystal or crystal grid. We can send Reiki energy to anyone simply by directing our thoughts and energy.


Setting up a mutual time is preferred, so the recipient is open to receiving the energy. However, distance Reiki can be sent to anyone, anywhere and at any time, though permission should, in some way, be received.

Reiki Space Clearing: 


Every space clearing should start with thorough cleaning, clutter clearing and organization and the opening of windows prior to the Reiki Practitioner coming in to perform the Reiki Space Clearing session. Methods of Space Clearing may include Reiki, sage smudge sticks (burning or sage spray), sea salt, clapping, bells, symbols, and positive affirmations.  

The whole area will be "smudged" with dried sage.  Sage is a powerful purifier used by the Native Americans for centuries for just this reason.  The scent dissipates quickly.  A positive affirmation will be said with you to create a feeling of peace and sacredness.  We use your intentions to set a sacred space in your home or business so the space stays purified. This will help to bring a home or business to a new level of harmony.

Unless something feels really stuck or until some negative event occurs in the space, you should not have to do another major space clearing for a year.  Keeping your space clean and uncluttered will keep the stagnation down and your life moving in harmonious ways.


Appointments can take a little over an hour as they include a short consultation taking details etc.
A 1 hour appointment is $100 for home/business 1500 sq feet or less. Additional fee based on the additional square footage of your home or business. (Cost of any supplies used is included) *Travel time for sites that are beyond 25 miles will be reasonable according to mileage and gas prices.
